International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code Course (NATO Listed Course) ETOC Course Code: MOP-MO-25559 |
AIM To give the participants `Ship Security Officer Course`, `Company Security Officer Course` and `Port Facility Security Officer Course` in order to meet specific requirements identified by International Ship and Port Facility Security Code.
Target Audience 1. Personnel responsible for or involved with maritime security onboard ships and at port facilities and appropriate personnel (law enforcement and government/military entities) who have been allocated potential or specific tasks in an existing security programme. 2. Navy/CG personnel, appropriate personnel (SSO, CSO, PFSO) from both government and non-government agencies (intelligence and maritime administration), fixed and floating platforms and mobile offshore drilling units’ security personnel and other maritime security stakeholders (Chamber of Shipping, Recognized Security Organizations (RSOs)] who are likely to engage in ISPS Code related issues. |

Naval Cooperation and Guidance for Shipping (NCAGS) Course (NATO Approved Course) ETOC Course Code: MOP-MO-25567 |
AIM The aim of this course is to provide NATO and national military personnel with a deep knowledge about NCAGS capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of the dependence and necessary interaction between military operations and merchant shipping as it applies to peacetime, crises and armed conflict operations at sea.
Target Audience Military and reserve personnel from NATO Command Structure (NCS) and NATO Force Structure (NFS) that either occupy NATO jobs with NCAGS relevance or who perform NCAGS functions and duties on order or on behalf of MARCOM NATO Shipping Centre. The course is open for NATO and Partners military personnel who are or will be operating within the NCAGS organisation. |

Thank you for registering for virtual MARSEC COE’s Course. The course will take place virtually. You could using our web-based Learning Management System (LMS) is provided by TalentLMS for course contents and LMS-integrated GoToMeeting for online synchronous (live) lessons. For an efficient and smooth course, please follow the instructions below:
Before your introduction with our virtual systems:
• Ensure your internet connection is sufficient. Please do not use NATO Secure.
• Only keep necessary applications activated on your device while joining the online live lessons.
• If possible, avoid using Internet Explorer or Edge. We recommend Firefox or Chrome.
• You will find the links for online live lessons in our LMS directly, then you may join them either via your browser or via the GoToMeeting App; we recommend the latter option. The link in related course page will guide you through both options.
• Please check in advance if your speakers, microphone and camera work properly. If possible, we advise you to use a headset.
To log in to the LMS:
· Your user account for the LMS will be activated before the course. When your account activated, you will receive a notification email includes your username and password. Please check your emails and then log in our LMS via a direct link in email or from here (https://natomarseccoe.talentlms.com).
· To be familiar with our LMS, please have a look at this short video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZjCvoVmi6U . It briefly explains how does TalentLMS works.
During the course:
• Please enter your name and e-mail address before joining the online live lessons.
• Please switch off your microphone unless the academic advisor/lecturer invites you to speak.
• After joining the online live lesson, please introduce yourself to everyone in the chat-box (write name & institution).
• Make use of “Question chat” in case of questions during online live lessons. Our academic advisor will collect all questions and forward them to the lecturer.
• If you lose your internet connection and miss some lessons, please reach administrators for our alternative solutions for missed ones.
